A day in the life…
Load and unload trucks, or help others with loading and unloading, operating any special loading-related equipment on vehicles, and using other equipment as necessary such as forklift
Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations
Secure cargo for transport, using straps, gates, or covers
Picking, Packing & Dispatching of orders to a high standard and pick rate
Assist with all stock control processes, including receiving inwards goods, cycle counts etc
Work with the team to achieve stock integrity through stock replenishment, date expiry checks, stocktakes etc
General warehouse duties as directed
Manual labour & repetitive lifting throughout your shift
What we need…
HC or HR License
Minimum two years’ experience driving a ‘Heavy Rigid Vehicle
Be committed to working safely and adhering to our health & safety policies
Experience or exposure to chain of responsibility
Forklift License preferred but not essential
Physically fit as you may be lifting stock weighing up to 20kg
A commitment to providing great customer service
Availability to work flexible hours
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail skills
Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
Ability to be flexible in order to meet changing work conditions
Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
