Job Title: Truck Driver, Local

We are now looking for an experienced local truck driver. The successful candidate will support our Manufacturing Coagulants, Industry & Water segment in East Chicago, IL. Kemira's Industry & Water segment enables our customers to improve their water treatment efficiency by providing value-adding support and high-performing chemicals.

In this role you’ll be responsible for

• Delivering bulk liquid commodities to customers
• Loading and unloading tankers
• Completing delivery paperwork
• Complying with federal, state, and local regulations in regard to the safe transportation and handling of hazardous materials.

What you'll bring to the team

• Minimum 3-years of experience driving a tractor-trailer
• Minimum 3-years of experience transporting bulk chemicals in cargo tank preferred
• Commercial driver's license with tanker and hazardous materials endorsement required
• Clean driving record (2.0 points or less)
• Basic math skills, thorough knowledge of DOT rules and regulations, and a customer service orientation

The starting salary range is $35.18/hour, plus performance-based bonuses. The actual starting compensation is based on experience, skills, and business needs. Comprehensive benefits include health insurance, paid time off, life/disability insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.
