We’re looking for a Class 4 or Class 5 Truck Driver to join our General Cartage Transport Team in Mt Wellington, Auckland. Based out of Reliable Way, you’ll keep our operation moving by carting aggregate and asphalt materials between quarries, plants, yards and major project sites across Auckland. It’s hands-on, high-responsibility work that plays a real part in delivering good work for our customers and communities.

There’s more to this role than getting from A to B — you’ll be a key part of the wider operation, managing load security, timing, site access, compliance and vehicle care while keeping things running smoothly. We’re after someone who knows cartage driving, understands the pace of civil and roading work, and can switch on when it counts.
Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities
Transport aggregate, asphalt and other roading materials safely and efficiently between Fulton Hogan quarries, plants, yards and project sites across Auckland.
Complete cartage runs to tight delivery timeframes, helping crews and plants stay supplied and ready to go.
Load, cart and tip product safely, including working in quarry, plant and active construction environments.
Follow job briefs, run sheets and site instructions to ensure each delivery is completed accurately and on time.
Carry out daily vehicle condition reports, maintain your logbook and keep your truck tidy, roadworthy and well cared for.
Build strong working relationships with dispatchers, site crews, plant teams and other stakeholders across the business.
Support the wider team with occasional manual labour or yard duties when required.

A minimum Class 4 New Zealand driver licence.
Proven experience in general cartage, tipping and transport driving, ideally within civil construction, roading or a similar industry.
Experience delivering to asphalt, paving or construction sites, with a solid understanding of site safety and live operational environments.
A strong working knowledge of NZ Transport Regulations, logbook requirements and heavy vehicle compliance.
A proactive approach to vehicle care, maintenance and daily checks.
