Red Salmon Cannery – Naknek, AK

**Job Summary:**

CDL DRIVE

We are seeking a dependable Truck Driver with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our team at Red Salmon Cannery in Naknek, Alaska. The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various locations.

**Qualifications:**

  • - Valid CDL license (Class A)
  • - Clean driving record
  • - Excellent communication skills
  • - Strong work ethic and reliability
  • -Pasanger Bus endorsment would be a plus



**Responsibilities:**

- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns

- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently

- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws



**Additional Requirements:**

- Physical stamina and strength to load and unload goods

- Willingness to work long hours, if needed

- Prior experience in a marine or dock-related work is an asset.

Qualified applicants must be:

  • 18+ years old.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL).
  • Experience operating boom trucks and forklifts.
  • Ability to work long shifts during peak production.
  • Must be self-motivated and has the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing off-site gear storage.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and work efficiently in a team setting.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
