This position is responsible for transporting materials and products safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities - Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport materials and equipment. - Secure loads properly, including flatbed loads when required. - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs. - Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and all applicable safety requirements. - Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers. - Maintain delivery schedules and ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of loads. - Report any mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications - Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License - Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements. - Ability to pass required background checks, drug screening, and physical. - Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. - Ability to secure loads and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading when necessary.
