Responsibilities: - Driving Automatic 53" trailer with reefer. Newer vehicles (2020 or newer Freightliner Cascadia) - Cross Country/On The Road (OTR), driving with another driver as a Team - Comply with DOT regulations - Tablet for E-logs are provided in trucks - Communicate with Dispatch to receive delivery instructions - Inspect the vehicle for mechanical and safety concerns and perform preventative maintenance (pre-trip/ post-trip inspections) as required by Federal and State Transportation standards and regulations - Climb in and out of trucks repeatedly with no difficulties - Ability to lift, bend, stoop, twist, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds, and prolonged sitting while driving - Must be okay with Team Driving Requirements and
Qualifications: - Must be 21+ years of age - Possess a valid Class A driver's license and a current DOT Medical certification card - Preferred clean driving record - No driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 3 moving violations or at fault accidents in the last 3 years (Due to insurance) - One (1+) year driving tractor-trailer experience or will accept CDL students out of school - Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions - Must pass a drug/alcohol screen and background check - Basic computer, tablet and/or smartphone skills, GPS and familiar with scanning devices - Problem solve basic logistics issues ** CDL Drivers must register with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse if you have not already done so.**
