Job Purpose
An exciting opportunity for a MC Truck Driver to join our team!
We are looking for an MC Truck Driver with experience in carting Full Containers. This is a day shift role, with a start time of 4am.
A current MSIC is mandatory, and ADOUBLE experience is required.
Key Accountabilities
Shuttling Full Exports and Imports in the Port Precinct
Shuttling Empty containers around the Port precinct
Delivering containers to customer sites in metro and regional/rural areas
Performing pre-start equipment checks, fault reporting and weight scale calibration
Assistance with management of Chain of Responsibility and compliance as a Truck Driver
Managing driver time sheets and load data to a high standard
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Current MC licence
Current MSIC
Safe driving record
Previous experience in container truck driving – A-Doubles, including reversing and breaking down trailers
Knowledge of all Empty Parks and Terminals in Sydney
Current knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
Previous experience using MTData and electronic work diary technology highly desired
High regard for vehicle cleanliness and personal presentation
Current knowledge of legal weight limits and correct load positions
Be physically fit and capable of passing a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening
