Whats on offer?
We’re seeking an experienced Truck Driver – Float Operations to support our asphalt and civil operations across NSW. This role is responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient transport of plant and equipment to and from asphalt and civil worksites. You’ll need solid float experience, a strong safety mindset, and a sound working knowledge of HVNL, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Oversize Overmass (OSOM) and Load Restraint requirements. Day to day you will:

  • Transport plant and equipment safely to and from asphalt and civil worksites

  • Carry out pre-starts, vehicle inspections and safety checks

  • Secure loads in line with load restraint requirements

  • Operate in accordance with HVNL and Chain of Responsibility obligations

  • Travel within legal OSOM road safety and route navigation across NSW

  • Work closely with site teams and supervisors to meet operational requirements

  • Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and presentation

How you'll connect to the role?

  • Current HC or MC licence

  • Proven float driving experience

  • Strong understanding of HVNL, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Load Restraint requirements

  • Detailed understanding of OSOM road safety and route navigation across NSW

  • Reliable and professional approach to work

  • Availability to work both day and night shifts (rotational)

  • Physically capable of loading and unloading plant and equipment

  • Experience in asphalt or civil operations highly regarded
