Job Responsibilities:

PROFILE:

The Truck Driver is responsible for ensuring that designated raw materials, WIP and finished goods are transported according to the instructions of the scheduling, purchasing and shipping departments

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in compliance with all Health and Safety Legislation;
• Facilitate material movement between plants;
• Inspect, according to ministry guidelines, all material handling equipment, tractor trailer or truck trailer in their care;
• Ensure housekeeping standards are met within area's of responsibility;
• Facilitate movement of material to Coatings suppliers and pickup material as scheduled on a daily basis from various suppliers as directed.
• Manage E-Log requirements as mandated by Ontario government.
• Perform other duties as required

General Points:

• Ensure that all environmental requirements are identified and addressed when performing duties.
• Ensure that all safety requirements are being carried out when performing duties.
• Comply with defined Business Management and Environmental Management Systems requirements.
• Provide support for the continuous improvement initiatives within Dortec.
• Provide support in the attainment of Dortec's operating system goals as outlined by the key graphs.
• Carry out all duties focusing on the goal of internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or designate.

$30.07 per hour
