Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Transport company goods using owned or leased commercial vehicles to meet operational and customer delivery needs

• Retrieve raw materials, supplies, and returned merchandise from vendors or customers as required

• Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers during deliveries and pickups

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before departure, during operation, and upon return; perform basic preventative upkeep

• Safeguard company vehicles, equipment, and cargo to ensure long-term usability and compliance

• Accurately track driving hours, rest periods, mileage, and related expenses in accordance with regulations

• Manage company-issued fuel cards, credit accounts, and cash responsibly

• Promptly report any mechanical issues, safety concerns, traffic incidents, or compliance violations

• Adhere strictly to all DOT standards and internal company policies

Qualifications & Certifications

• High school education or GED required

• Minimum of one year experience in a related driving or logistics role

• Valid commercial driver’s license (Class A or B; Class A strongly preferred)

• Active DOT medical certification

• Acceptable motor vehicle record demonstrating safe driving history

• Ability to maintain all required licenses and certifications
