Perform exceptional truck detailing services on vehicles according to the needs of our customers. Detailed inspections, washing, and buffing to restore the appearance of vehicles to company standards. Will also assist the rest of the staff, as directed, in their efforts to manage vehicles in an efficient manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform inspections and complete accurate records of the vehicle’s condition.
• Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles using the specified products and methods provided by the company.
• Apply protective finishes to vehicles’ exterior.
• Perform inspections to ensure that each step of the cleaning process has been completed.
• Move and park vehicles throughout the cleaning process.
• Maintains awareness of proper safety precautions at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Proven work experience as a Vehicle Detailer or similar role.
• Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable.
• Paint preparation experience such as wet sanding is preferred.
• Ability to use a variety of cleaning products and tools as instructed.
• Willingness to comply with all company procedures and policies.
• Valid Driver’s License and eligible to be covered under the Siddons Martin insurance policy.
• CDL a plus, but not required.
Education and/or Experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk stairs and/or climb ladders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
