Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical troubleshooting and leadership expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a dedicated and highly skilled team of professionals.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and safety of our rolling stock systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Operations, Engineering, Warranty, and OEM teams), lead troubleshooting efforts**, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of failure investigations and preventive maintenance activities, but also drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
We’ll look to you for:
Leading troubleshooting and failure investigation activities for rolling stock systems to ensure fleet availability, reliability, and operational safety.
Managing engineers and technicians within the troubleshooting team to optimize resources and maintain high team performance.
Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and supporting complex technical investigations to identify recurring failures and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Reviewing and analyzing failure data, technical reports, and fleet performance indicators to improve system reliability and reduce service disruptions.
Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and implementation of improvement actions.
Supervising preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures, quality standards, and EHS requirements.
Responding to critical failures and providing immediate technical solutions to minimize service disruptions.
Developing and mentoring junior engineers and technicians to enhance technical competencies and build a high-performing team.
Ensuring proper documentation of failures, interventions, and configuration changes to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering (mandatory).
Minimum 8 years of experience in the railway industry, with strong exposure to rolling stock maintenance and troubleshooting activities (mandatory).
Proven experience in troubleshooting, failure investigation, and corrective maintenance of rolling stock systems (mandatory).
Experience in testing, coupling, and commissioning activities of rolling stock systems, with participation in at least one railway project from commissioning to operational handover (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of rolling stock subsystems, including propulsion, braking, HVAC, TCMS, doors, auxiliary power systems, and communication systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and failure analysis capabilities, including the ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
High level of professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.
High level of English language proficiency (desirable).
Familiarity with railway safety and product liability (desirable).
Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound technical decisions.
Adaptability to new work conditions and tools, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
