This is an opportunity for a Tronc Administrator to join our employer services team. WMT Troncmaster Services, part of Moore Kingston Smith, is one of the leading providers of tronc solutions to the hospitality industry, working with Michelin‑starred restaurants, celebrity chefs, high‑street groups, and 5‑star hotels.

What is a Tronc solution?
A tronc solution (also known as a tronc system/scheme/arrangement) allows the proceeds from service charges and credit card tips to be distributed to staff working in the hospitality industry. Experience of tronc solutions is not essential as training on our processes and systems will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Tronc Administration team, you will:

  • Calculate tips, service charges, and other gratuities for employees across high‑profile UK hospitality venues.
  • Process and analyse client‑provided data to ensure accurate and timely distribution of awards.
  • Manage tronc‑related budgets following completion of training.
  • Respond to client queries and maintain clear, professional communication with businesses.
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients.
  • Use IT systems extensively, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and internal software tools.
  • Maintain accurate digital records within a fully paperless, virtual filing environment.
  • Ensure all client documents are correctly indexed, organised, and stored in the virtual filing system.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to interpret and work confidently with data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ensuring work is completed accurately and with care.
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Working knowledge of Excel formulas, including IF and LOOKUP formulas as well as Pivot Tables.
  • Meticulous, accurate and process driven approach to work.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Commercially focused and professional in communication and conduct.
  • A‑Level (or equivalent) in Maths and GCSE English (A–C).
  • Ability to complete numerical and verbal/logic assessments as part of the selection process.
