The expected salary range for this position is $25.57 - $30.04. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. Compassion's Fellowship program is a 9-month (September-May) opportunity for recent graduates and early career professionals to join innovative teams at Compassion in working on new and exciting projects in the organization. Fellows are entry-level contributors who are developed over these 9-months to be equipped to take the lead on projects in the future. Each Fellow is paired with a mentor who will offer them 1:1 coaching throughout this season with Compassion. They will also participate in various professional development opportunities such as conferences with other organizations, Q&A times with innovative Thought-Leaders at Compassion, and understanding their strengths and contributions in the workforce.

The Trips and Visits Fellow serves as a versatile member of the Field Experience team, providing support across the full spectrum of Field Experience operations, from trip and event planning to business support functions. This role helps bridge operational gaps, ensuring seamless execution of field experiences while delivering exceptional service to sponsors, donors, ministry partners, and internal stakeholders.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Fellow implements established strategies that highlight Compassion's ministry, deepen stakeholder engagement, increase sponsorship opportunities, encourage additional giving, and strengthen retention efforts. The Fellow is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and drives projects and customer needs across the finish line with excellence and attention to detail.

What will you do?

• Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
• Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.
• Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.
• Assists with the coordination of multiple trips per fiscal year to educate supporters and ministry partners while providing first-hand experience and exposure to Compassion's core ministry programs to ultimately increase giving and sponsorship of children. Trips include individual custom visits and sponsor trips as well as other field experiences.
• Acts as a liaison between Compassion’s Trips & Visits team and a supporter, and provides excellent communication, accurate information, and timely responses, while anticipating and meeting visitor expectations.
• Assists with both planning and administrative components of trips and visits to provide a seamless end-to-end experience for travelers, often with guidance from a more senior specialist. This responsibility includes coordinating trip registration, visas and necessary paperwork, payment processes, trip books, as well as post trip evaluation and wrap-up.
• Prepares and provides resources and materials regarding Compassion programs and trip outcomes.
• Provides outstanding service and attention to detail to ensure that our guests have an excellent and safe visit/trip experience.

What do you bring?

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education, training, and/or certification
• Comfortable performing high-volume data entry and managing repetitive administrative tasks with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
• High level of organization, excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• Strong communication capabilities and customer service skills; has the ability to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Technology fluency; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required. Salesforce experience also preferred. Cvent experience a plus.
