If you’ve been to a store that has employees wearing shirts with logos, there is a very good chance that the product or logo decoration was done by Vantage Apparel.

The Trimmer/Finisher will be responsible for the accurate and timely cleaning/trimming of the embroidered goods. Responsible for identifying and pointing out any defects in embroidered goods. Communicate needs/concerns/findings to the Production Manager.

The Trimmer/Finisher will be:

• Responsible for all aspects of cleaning, trimming, and packing of the job assigned.
• Trimming loose threads on goods.
• Cutting or tearing away excess backing.
• Cut materials according to specifications, using blades and/or scissors.
• Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for jobs being produced.
• Ensure all logos have been done in correct location on goods.
• Ensure any special services such as hang tags are complied with.
• Responsible for the pressing, folding and poly bagging of the orders assigned.
• Follow production schedule and advise Team Leader of any production issues.
• Record quantities of materials processed.
• Inspect garments to locate defects or damages.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Work in accordance with all safety regulations of the warehouse.
