ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Tribunal Advocate to join our Legal team within Shared Services. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in managing tenancy and resident-related matters across our communities and holiday parks.

In this role, you will take ownership of tenancy disputes from start to finish, represent the business in tribunal settings, and work closely with operational teams to achieve fair, respectful and balanced outcomes for both residents and the business.

This role is less about traditional legal pathways and more focused on practical tenancy advocacy, case management and resolving matters in a way that supports positive long-term outcomes. You will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer and broader business to ensure a consistent and considered approach to tenancy matters across our portfolio.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Represent the business at tenancy and tribunal hearings across Australia
• Prepare applications, submissions and supporting evidence
• Manage a portfolio of disputes from initiation through to resolution
• Develop case files, evidence bundles and legal documentation
• Provide guidance to operational teams on tenancy and dispute matters
• Support legal compliance across agreements, notices and communications
• Conduct legal research and summarise key legislative updates
• Maintain accurate records, reporting and documentation standards
• Collaborate with park, village and operational teams nationally
• Identify process improvements and contribute to best practice approaches
• Approach disputes with a focus on early resolution and respectful engagement with residents

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 2 to 4 years’ experience in tenancy, housing, property management or dispute resolution roles
• Experience managing tenancy or resident-related matters end-to-end
• Strong understanding of legal documentation and case preparation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational capability
• Ability to manage multiple matters and competing priorities
• Confidence working with stakeholders across a multi-site business
• Experience in tribunal, mediation or dispute resolution settings (desirable)
• Knowledge of Australian tenancy legislation (highly regarded)
• Ability to navigate complex or sensitive situations with empathy, fairness and a practical mindset
• A balanced approach to tenancy matters, recognising both resident needs and business requirements
