This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Global Infrastructure at ING. You will play a leading role in defining strategic direction, driving transformation, and ensuring that Global Infrastructure delivers measurable value to ING through a product-led operating model. Your work will directly influence how infrastructure investments, priorities, and capabilities contribute to ING’s ambition of becoming the best European bank.
This role forms part of the Global Infrastructure management team. Global Infrastructure is the technology backbone of ING, providing the platforms, networks, cloud services, and core technology foundations that power digital banking across the world. Automation & Orchestration sits at the heart of this landscape, defining how infrastructure is designed, automated, secured, and operated at scale.
Global Infrastructure is accelerating the adoption of standardised global platforms across more than 10 countries. The tribe lead Consumer Adoption will play a critical role in reducing technology fragmentation, increasing platform adoption, and delivering measurable reductions in infrastructure complexity and cost.
You will provide functional leadership to all Country Infrastructure heads and oversee a global team of approximately 30 professionals. In this role, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders across Technology, Architecture, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and country organisations to drive strategic infrastructure outcomes.
As tribe lead Consumer Adoption, you will shape how Global Infrastructure solutions are adopted and consumed across ING while leading a critical capability that enables large-scale transformation.
We hire smart people like you for your potential. Our biggest expectation is that you’ll stay curious. Keep learning. Take on responsibility. In return, we’ll back you to develop into an even more awesome version of yourself. To succeed in this role, you bring:
Functional emphasis: Adoption leadership, demand shaping, transition governance, country alignment, stakeholder orchestration and service consumption governance.
Note: Tribe Lead level technical fluency — intended for direction-setting, architectural challenge, risk governance, investment steering and senior engineering leadership; not a hands-on engineer requirement.
