Financial Crime & Fraud Prevention (FCFP), part of COO, is a first line of defenceorganisationthatstandardisesprocesses, strengthens controls, andoptimisesoperations across business lines. Within this context, the Tribe Lead Client Tax Services (CTS)plays a key leadership role in shaping and delivering global client tax compliance services.
The team
Within Global FCFP, theorganisationis structured around services: Customer Due Diligence, Transaction Monitoring, Screening, Client Tax Services, and Fraud Services. In addition, global supporting functions (horizontals) ensure effectiveness, excellence, oversight, and control.
Global Client Tax Services (CTS) ensures frictionless client tax compliance for ING and its customers throughaccurateandtimelytax information sharing and strong globalexpertise CTS simplifies complexity, enables locations tocomply withregulations, and delivers consistent standards aligned with the FCFP strategy and ING’s risk and control framework.
The Tribe Lead CTS leads a hierarchical and functional team of approximately 29 FTE across countries and hubs and works closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including Global FCFP MT, MT COO, CIO/Tech, CTO/KYC & CTS, COO Data & Analytics, second line functions, and external stakeholders such as regulators.
You report to the Global Head of Client Tax Services and are part of the Client Tax Services Leadership Team and the Global CTS Control Board.
Roles and responsibilities
The Tribe Lead CTSis responsible for
Define and evolve the global CTS service catalogue,minimumrequirements, user journeys, and operating model
Ensure consistent product definitions and documentation across countries and business lines
Plan and steer implementation waves, including go-live transition, training, and communications
Monitor adoption, resolve roll-out blockers, and ensure benefits arerealised
Own andprioritisethe CTS global roadmap across process, tooling, and data
Drive end-to-end delivery with clear scope, benefits, risks, and dependencies
Translate business needs into Tech epics and features and align architecture and data flows
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant by design
Own key CTS vendor and tool contracts, including commercial governance, performance, risk, and cost control
Manage vendor delivery, service levels, and compliance obligations

To succeed in this role, you should have:
University or postgraduate (Master’s) degree in a relevant field
10+ years of experience leading global transformation and delivery in a regulated financial services environment (preferably tax, financial crime prevention, operations, or similar domains)
5+ years in senior leadership roles with accountability for roadmapprioritisation, delivery governance, and benefitsrealisation
Strong experience as a linking pin between Business and IT/Tech, translating requirements into epics/features and aligning architecture and data flows
Proven experience in vendor and contract ownership, including SLA management, performance management, and third-party risk and compliance
Extensive experience driving change, implementation, and adoption at scale
Experienceoperatingin a strong control environment, including audit/regulatory engagement and continuous improvement
Deepexpertisein client tax compliance and reporting regimes (e.g.CRS/FATCA-style) and related risk and control expectations
Ability to manage a multi-year change portfolio, set priorities based on value and risk, and drive investment cases and benefitsrealisation
Ability to engage senior stakeholders, manage conflicting priorities, and communicate risks and trade-offs effectively
