At KWS Vegetables Italy, we are looking for a passionate and results-driven Trial Development Specialist to join our team in the Lazio/Campania area This is a full-time, unlimited contract position with a hybrid work mode, offering the opportunity to contribute to innovative agricultural solutions in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Your responsibilities

As a Trial Development Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our vegetable varieties by:

• Conducting product performance trials to assess the added value of new varieties.
• Collecting, analyzing, and reporting quantitative and qualitative trial data.
• Supporting the Product Development Manager with data-driven proposals for PLC advancement.
• Independently managing and executing field trials in your territory, in coordination with distributors, agents, and the crop trial plan.
• Designing trial plans and protocols, ensuring high-quality execution and data completeness.
• Using tools like Mercado for data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborating with sales, breeding, and product management teams to gather market insights.
• Providing expert product information and cultivation advice.
• Preparing elevation meetings and contributing to successful product introductions.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who brings both expertise and enthusiasm:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or Horticulture (minimum requirement).
• Experience in the vegetable seed industry is preferred.
• Solid background in product development and trial evaluation.
• Fluent in English and Italian manadatory (spoken and written).
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• A proactive team player with excellent communication abilities.
• Self-organized and result-oriented.
