Position/Salary and Benefits: Trial Court Clerk II, grade 18, $18.75 hourly

$19.23 after 6 months of successful performance

$20.68 after 1-year of successful performance

Job Duties: Receive, docket, and process legal documents for case records by computer. Provide courteous and cooperative assistance to judges, attorneys, and the public. Perform functions related to answering the telephone and certifying documents. Perform such other duties as assigned by the Clerk of the District Court.

Required Education and Experience: High school or GED Six months of experience in office clerical work.Knowledge of modern office procedures and practices. Skills with computers and operation of standard office equipment.

Preferred qualifications: Experience working in a computerized office, knowledge of computers and financial transactions. Excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of court procedures and policies is desirable.Application Deadline: Open until filled
