Job Description

We’re looking for motivated Chipper Operators to join our team, supporting vegetation works across Wangaratta and surrounding areas. These are entry-level opportunities, so no previous experience is required — we’re happy to provide training for the right people.

If you do bring hands-on experience in tree work, vegetation management, landscaping, civil, utilities, traffic control, or similar outdoor labouring roles, we’d love to hear from you!

Tree Worker / Pathway Opportunity: This role is ideal for someone who is new to the industry, or already has some exposure to tree work and is looking to build on that foundation. You’ll support vegetation works while developing your skills across core activities, with the opportunity to progress into an EWP Operator or Climber pathway over time. Duties may include:

• Chipping vegetation
• Setting up a safe worksite
• Site clean-up & Safety observing
• Ground cutting using a chainsaw

Do you have?

• A current drivers’ licence (essential)
• MR/HR Truck licence (highly regarded)
• The ability to work safely
• The flexibility to Live Away from Home for up to 2 weeks at a time

Great, but not essential:

• White card
• First aid/CPR
• Chainsaw operation qualification (Certificate Level 1 & 2) is desirable
• ESI cert 2 (highly regarded)
• An Elevated Work Platform licence (highly regarded)
• Certificate III in Horticulture or Arboriculture (highly regarded)
