Responsible for providing chemical dependency education and group therapy, managing a case load, and ensuring adherence to conditions of the Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections and the Harbor Light Complex.

Rate of pay is $21.00/hr

CDCA or higher required.

Responsibilities

  • Screening and assessment interview of all clients upon intake, using program approved screening and assessment instruments.
  • preparation of CCIS intake report for each new client.
  • supervise residents on assigned caseload, meeting as often with them as needed and required.
  • facilitate group therapy
  • didactic presentations as assigned.
  • contribute to discharge plans and reports.
  • be knowledgeable of and assist with Thinking for a Change program as needed.
  • participate in the family programs.
  • other duties as assigned by supervisor, associate director of corrections, director of corrections or the executive director.

Qualifications

  • prior experience in community-based treatment
  • ability to handle resident populations
  • knowledge of chemical dependency treatment and recovery
  • must be licensed under the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board (at minimum a CDCA)
