Wood are seeking an experienced Treasury Systems Lead to own and deliver the end‑to‑end implementation of a new Treasury Management System (TMS).

This is a high‑impact role, reporting to the President of Treasury, with accountability for leading a complex, global programme and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, IT, vendors and external partners.

This position can be based from any of our UK offices on a hybrid basis.

The Role

The Treasury Systems Lead will take overall responsibility for the successful design, implementation and business adoption of a new TMS. Acting as the primary interface between the business and the TMS vendor, leading governance, planning sessions and design workshops while maintaining a strong delivery cadence.

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage the scope, milestones, risks and dependencies with proven experience of working collaboratively with system vendors to ensure a solution that aligns with the treasury strategy, operating model and long‑term objectives.

Alongside vendor partnership, you will lead a large‑scale, end‑to‑end TMS transformation programme, owning the implementation roadmap, go‑live readiness and successful decommissioning of legacy systems. Success in this role depends on strong collaboration and listening skills — partnering closely with Treasury, Finance, IT and external stakeholders, translating business needs into effective system design, and building trusted relationships that drive engagement, adoption and delivery across a complex stakeholder landscape.

The key objectives for this role are:

• Support TMS selection, scoping, contracting and onboarding process
• Lead the overall TMS design to cover both key functional Treasury processes and the wider bank/ERP connectivity strategy for Wood
• Partner with Treasury and broader finance teams to redesign existing processes to enhance automation and strengthen controls
• Define the implementation roadmap, milestones and critical paths to ensure the project is delivered against the agreed scope, timeline and budget.
• Establish a project cadence including project team, regular status reporting to key sponsors will be required
• Lead focal point with both vendor and internal stakeholders, establishing strong governance, decision making forums and escalation routes.
• Overseeing risk and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle, escalating these for timely resolution
• Partnering closely with IT to implement all interfaces necessary such as banking and ERP connectivity. Ensure appropriate data architecture, security and access controls are in place. Validating environments (UAT, pre-prod, prod) and go-live readiness
• Defining and overseeing the data migration strategy (including static data uploads, opening balances, historical deal information) and validating configuration to ensure these aligns with treasury policy and accounting rules
• Owning the end-to-end testing approach, ensuring system users validate the configuration accuracy and define go-live criteria/contingency plans.
• Ensuring knowledge transfer processes have been completed prior to go-live and standard operating processes have been updated / established

Expected:

• Treasury certification from Association of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT)
• 5+ years’ experience in a treasury function in a geographically widespread organisation
• Proven track record delivering end‑to‑end TMS implementations (ideally global)
• Hands‑on experience working with TMS vendors (e.g. Kyriba, Reval, Bond, Integrity or similar)
• Strong treasury background across cash & liquidity, FX/IR risk, funding and trade finance
• Experience integrating treasury systems with ERP and banking platforms
• Comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level and leading cross‑functional teams
• Strong listener with the ability to balance business and technical perspectives
• Collaborative, confident and able to bring people with you through change
• Clear communicator with a structured, pragmatic approach to delivery
• Resilient, organised and able to manage shifting priorities in a fast‑moving programme
