Our client is a leading global venture building group focused on promoting the mass adoption of Web3 technologies since 2018. The organization is dedicated to bridging traditional business practices with the dynamic Web3 landscape, fostering partnerships between established leaders and tech innovators. Their investment strategy emphasizes long-term growth, supporting numerous successful ventures and contributing to the development of the digital economy.

With the rapid expansion, our client is currently looking to add a new headcount to the team to handle Crypt Settlement as well as treasury operations and reporting directly to the COO.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review the daily cryptocurrency settlement processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  
• Oversee the quality of the crypto settlement workflows, identifying and mitigating potential risks, such as wallet security, transaction validation, and regulatory compliance.
  
• Promptly investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise in the crypto settlement process, maintaining a high level of service and minimizing operational disruptions.
  
• Collaborate with the cross-functional team to develop, document, and continuously refine the crypto settlement policies, procedures, and internal controls, aligning with the company's risk management framework.
  
• Work closely with the Operations team to analyze the existing crypto settlement workflows, leverage automation and technology to enhance efficiency, and implement streamlined processes.
  
• Perform detailed cryptocurrency cash flow projections and liquidity analysis to accurately assess the company's funding requirements, managing fiat and digital asset reserves to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, computer science, or a related field, with a strong understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency operations.
  
• At least 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in financial industry operations, with a proven track record in managing crypto-related settlement activities, wallets, and transactions.
  
• In-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency protocols, token standards, and the associated risks, controls, and best practices for secure and compliant settlement processes.
  
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in the fast-paced, 24/7 crypto ecosystem.
  
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently under tight deadlines and pressure, with a strong desire to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the crypto industry.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, compliance officers, and external stakeholders.
  
• Proficient in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin), with the ability to translate complex crypto-related financial information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
