Job Description

Treasury Sales Specialists (TSS) support the sales efforts of our Treasury Management Officers (TMO) to acquire, expand and retain business members who have treasury management needs. Works with TMO to develop and deliver proposals, analyze bank statements, and assist in discovery meetings to provide sales support to the Treasury team in their respective region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with partners to expand and retain business members who have treasury management needs.
  • Works with TMO to prepare account and treasury management proposals for prospects and existing business members who require expanded treasury management services.
  • Gathers required documentation. Prepares, reviews and verifies documents and relevant information for accuracy. Performs common processing and ensures compliance with standard regulations and processes. May administer complex implementation plans and related business member interactions.
  • Initiate and conduct necessary research that may need to be done in conjunction with on-going business member needs.
  • Generate cross-sell leads to sales teams and participate in regular annual reviews for business members.
  • Partner with the Business Specialist Team on more complex business member implementations.
  • Be a point of contact for treasury management business members for sales opportunities and work with the Business Specialist team on treasury service issues.
  • Be an expert in Field of Membership (FOM) and organizational documentation to ensure business qualifies for ICCU membership.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or similar work experience with 2 or more years of banking and treasury management experience. Demonstrated success in a customer service environment. Ability to work under pressure and handle business member situations. Ability to determine and act with a high sense of urgency when business members and situations require it. Daily processing and on-boarding of incoming business member agreements, applications, and forms. Possess high level task management and prioritization skills. Possess strong analytical and data mining skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and ability to participate effectively in a highly collaborative work team. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and handle difficult situations while maintaining strong personal relationships. Detail oriented and ability to follow through. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Performance Standard:

Good interpersonal relations and a cooperative and positive attitude towards members and staff. Ability to determine member needs and cross sell Credit Union services. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Ability to work under pressure and conflicting situations. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
