The Treasury Associate is responsible for the reporting for ALCO financials and regulatory RMB, the Bank's internal FTP and external product pricing. In addition, the associate also assists to administer and maintain efficient working relationship with internal and external customers, auditors and regulatory examiners in various inter-departmental and bank-wide projects; in accordance with established policy and procedures and supports and coordinates with all Assets and Liabilities Management Committee (ALCO) member departments to ensure the regulatory and internal compliance under the ALCO governance.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

Asset and Liability reporting & analysis

  • Monitor and optimize the pricing mechanisms (internal and external), support the business lines' deposit pricing to be more competitive and reasonable
  • Report pricing exceptions based on internal thresholds and monitor the application, conducted product pricing review and analysis to observe transactions
  • Review and explicit Product Pricing related policy and procedures to reflect the latest regulatory requirements, market environment and business need
  • Conducting product pricing review and analysis to incentivize current deposit balance and assisting FLUs for pricing adjustment proposals
  • Report cross-border RMB account balances to regulators
  • Report significant business and financial changes, adverse matters and key performance drivers
  • Prepare ALCO package and key information reports for senior management
  • Report the Head Office reports and ad hoc reports related with product pricing or assets and liabilities management
  • Ensure the department processes are well documented and conduct annual review of policy and procedures
  • Participate in internal audits and external exams and facilitate any relevant requests
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Identify existing process deficiencies and lead the team to further enhance the current process, e.g. reporting procedure, documentation and business process
  • Act as the backup person for the team leader

Compliance review and coordination projects, audits and exams

  • As Vendor Service Manager in TRY, perform due-diligence to review and maintain third party vendor activities in accordance to bank policies, procedure and regulatory requirements
  • Review operational risk profile to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the remediation of audit issue and /or risk management recommendations to ensure timely completion of management action

ALCO Secretariat and internal service

  • Perform liaison functions for ALCO committee members and relevant business departments in the committee activities
  • Support ALCO Secretariat and other administrative function

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, computer science, economics, mathematics or other related fields is required, Master's Degree is preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of work experience in finance and risk management
  • Knowledge of financial products and regulatory requirements is required

Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
