ING Australia are on a hunt for a detail‑driven and proactive Treasury Operations Officer to join our Transaction Processing & Controls team within Operations.
As Treasury Operations Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely settlement of ING’s Treasury transactions including Money Market, Debt Securities, Bonds, Issuances, Interest Rate Swaps and other Fixed Income products. You’ll action RTGS and SWIFT payments, resolve cash discrepancies, and support critical settlement and confirmation processes across the bank. This is a hands‑on operations role where accuracy, control and speed matter. You’ll work closely with Treasury Dealers, internal stakeholders and external counterparties to keep our markets operations running smoothly while supporting a strong risk and compliance culture.
Our ideal candidate is someone with strong numerical skills, excellent attention to detail and at least 12 months’ experience in banking or finance. You’re comfortable navigating systems like Austraclear, RITS and SWIFT, thrive in fast‑paced environments, and enjoy being part of a collaborative, high‑performing team. Above all, you take pride in getting things right the first time and keeping operations safe, efficient and well‑controlled.
