General Position Summary & Responsibilities

Radius Recycling is seeking an experienced, hands-on Treasury Manager to lead the Company's daily treasury operations, liquidity management, cash positioning, banking administration, and treasury systems, providing centralized oversight for approximately 100 operating locations across multiple banking relationships. This is a highly operational role that requires a hands-on treasury professional who is comfortable managing daily cash activities, optimizing funding decisions, administering banking platforms, and ensuring strong internal controls across treasury processes.

The successful candidate will have strong experience with Treasury Management Systems, preferably Kyriba, and a proven track record managing corporate cash operations in a multi-bank environment. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining adequate liquidity, supporting borrowing and repayment activities, enhancing treasury processes, and serving as the primary business owner of the Company's treasury technology environment.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000/year

Essential Functions:

Daily Cash and Treasury Operations

  • Lead daily cash positioning activities across multiple bank accounts, monitoring cash balances and funding requirements to ensure accounts are adequately funded.
  • Execute and oversee daily borrowing, repayment, and intercompany funding activities.
  • Manage cash ordering process for cash dispensing units and ATMs at operating locations.
  • Manage day-to-day treasury operations, including wire transfers, ACH transactions, and electronic banking platforms.
  • Oversee and support payment-fraud prevention controls, including positive pay, ACH validation, callback procedures, and payment exception monitoring.
  • Manage a portfolio of letters of credit, surety bonds and trust accounts.
  • Administer and maintain bank accounts and banking platform user access.
  • Monitor bank activity and investigate exceptions, returned payments, and treasury-related operational issues.
  • Own and continuously improve the short-term cash forecasting process, including weekly forecasts, variance analysis, business-partner inputs, and identification of anticipated funding requirements.
  • Collaborate with all levels management and with cross-functional departments to achieve business objectives and maintain service standards.
  • Maintain treasury process and policy documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage and develop a team of at least two treasury professionals in all aspects of daily treasury operations.

Treasury Management System

  • Serve as the primary administrator and business owner for the Treasury Management System (TMS), with a strong preference for Kyriba experience.
  • Maintain bank connectivity, payment workflows, security administration, reporting, and system controls.
  • Partner with IT, Accounting, Accounts Payable, and banking partners to support system enhancements and integrations.
  • Identify opportunities to automate treasury processes and improve efficiency through technology.

Banking Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for banking partners and treasury service providers.
  • Maintain banking documentation, signatory records, account structures, and service agreements.
  • Evaluate banking services and support periodic bank fee and service reviews.
  • Assist with implementation of new banking products and treasury services.

Internal Control Responsibilities:

Supports Internal Control process which includes understanding, communicating, and complying with defined internal controls as well as suggesting and making modifications to the policies, procedures, and controls to better match the business.

Communicates upward problems in operations, noncompliance with the code of conduct, or other policy violations or illegal actions.

Job Conditions:

This role requires the ability to manage competing priorities, meet time-sensitive deadlines, and maintain focus in a busy office setting. This is a hybrid role that requires employees to work on-site three (3) days per week.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and progressively responsible experience in corporate treasury, cash management, banking, accounting, or finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate treasury, cash management, banking, or related finance experience.
  • Demonstrated experience administering a Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or serving as a treasury system process owner.
  • Strong experience with daily cash positioning, liquidity management, and funding activities.
  • Strong understanding of payment controls, banking security, fraud prevention, and segregation of duties.
  • Experience administering banking platforms and payment systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively leverage system and spreadsheet applications.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet expected deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience administering Kyriba, including cash positioning, bank connectivity, payments, forecasting, reporting, security administration, and workflow configuration.
  • Experience supporting a multi-entity, multi-bank corporate environment.
  • Experience with bank connectivity, payment automation, and treasury technology initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP or similar enterprise systems.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, recycling, commodities, or other asset-intensive industries.
  • Experience supporting process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, system implementations, or finance process improvement activities.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to 6-8 hours per day; be mobile within an office environment; exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or minimal amounts frequently; keyboard for several hours per day; communicate by phone, in person, and in writing in a professional manner. The individual must possess visual acuity to perform close detail work for operating a computer and examining spreadsheets.
