Job Purpose: The Treasury Manager oversees operational banking relationships and treasury operations. As a direct report to the CAO, this role is responsible for liquidity management, cash forecasting, interest rate management, capital deployment, debt covenant compliance, treasury controls, and implementation of new treasury policies, systems, and process improvements.

Essential Duties:

  • Lead, coach, assign work, develop team members, and oversee Treasury department deliverables.
  • Oversee daily and short-term cash positioning, cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital analysis to support business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with existing covenants using knowledge of all financial and credit agreement terms.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Operations, and external banks and advisors to support treasury priorities and enterprise initiatives.
  • Evaluate, develop, implement, and monitor cash management systems, treasury management systems, bank portals, and related processes to optimize efficiency, visibility, and controls.
  • Responsible for managing surety bond facilities and relationships with sureties.
  • Manage interest expense planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • Manage all operational banking relationships, accounts, bank administration, online banking platforms, and payment processes, including ACH and wire activity.
  • Manage merchant bank processing, merchant services relationships, and money transmitter banking requirements in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Maintain and strengthen treasury controls, fraud prevention practices, payment controls, segregation of duties, audit support, and compliance with internal policies.
  • Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations assigned to the Treasury department
  • Compile financial reporting and draft bank compliance package.
  • Support debt administration, lender reporting, credit facility management, capital structure analysis, and refinancing activities as needed.
  • Support funds flow and other M&A transaction requirements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail, sound business judgment, executive-level communication, confidentiality, process improvement mindset, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of payment processing, merchant services, money transmitter banking requirements, treasury controls, and regulatory or compliance coordination.
  • A proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across functional areas within a large organization
  • Solid accounting skills and familiarity working with accounting teams
  • Experience with treasury management systems, ERP systems, online banking platforms, cash positioning tools, and bank account management processes.
  • Expert experience in excel
  • Strong analytical experience and knowledge
  • Ability to work with senior executives under time pressure
  • Ability to present to a large and sophisticated financial audience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience, including in finance/accounting, investment banking, or similar environment to include:
  • 5+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing staff
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role for a private equity owned or public company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • Prior experience in banking and/or finance a strong plus
  • Proficient in data retrieval applications such as TM1
  • MBA, CPA, CTP, CFA, or other relevant finance, accounting, or treasury certification preferred.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
  • Occasionally, this position may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
