Job Summary - Mission

Reporting to the Group Treasury and Funding Director, the Group Treasury and Funding Manager leads the day-to-day management and execution of the Group's treasury, liquidity, debt, funding and financial risk activities. The role manages a team of three Treasury professionals and converts the approved Treasury and Funding strategy into clear operating priorities, robust controls and timely execution. The position requires a sophisticated yet hands-on professional able to operate autonomously at executive level while remaining close to detail, personally supporting routine or operational activities whenever required to ensure delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily liquidity, cash positioning, and cash flow forecasting, ensuring accurate short- and long-term funding visibility across the Group.
• Define and implement cash management strategies, including cash pooling, intercompany funding, and optimization of the global banking structure.
• Identify funding needs, liquidity surpluses, and potential shortfalls, developing stress-testing and contingency plans to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage the Group's debt portfolio, including bank facilities, institutional funding, debt programs, intercompany financing, and guarantees.
• Support funding and refinancing decisions through financial analysis, modeling, and management of debt maturities, covenant compliance, and reporting obligations.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, lenders, institutional investors, and financial service providers, participating in negotiations, presentations, and financing transactions.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, and oversee hedging activities.
• Lead Treasury operations, governance, controls, compliance, and executive reporting, ensuring strong financial discipline and audit readiness.
• Drive Treasury transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA implementation, process standardization, automation, data quality improvements, and treasury technology enhancement.
• Support strategic projects such as M&A, refinancing initiatives, and post-acquisition Treasury integration.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Treasury professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while maintaining a hands-on leadership approach.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications – must have

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years' relevant experience in corporate treasury, funding, banking or a related finance role, preferably within a multinational or diversified international group.
• Demonstrable experience in liquidity and cash flow forecasting, syndicated and bilateral debt, institutional funding, financial covenants and banking relationships.
• Practical knowledge of foreign exchange and interest rate risk management, Treasury accounting and internal controls.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, systems and procedures (Spanish GAAP and IFRS).
• Proven experience leading or supervising a Treasury team and engaging with senior management, banks, lenders, institutional investors, auditors, legal counsel and financial advisers.
• Strong presentation skills and confidence representing the Group in meetings with banks, lenders and institutional investors.
• Native or Advanced level of English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications – nice to have

• Exposure to regulated debt markets, including MARF or comparable capital-markets programs, is highly desirable.
• Experience preparing or delivering lender and investor presentations would be highly valuable.
• Experience with SAP Treasury, SAP S/4HANA, TRM or Treasury transformation projects is highly desirable.
• M&A Treasury integration experience is an advantage.
