Since then, Myers Industries has expanded to become a leading polymer manufacturer of material handling containers and distributor of tire repair and retread products for both domestic and international markets.

The Treasury Manager, oversees all aspects of the company’s cash management operations, ensuring effective daily cash administration, liquidity management, and cash forecasting while driving process improvements across the treasury function. Reporting to the Director of Tax, the Cash Manager plays a key role in maintaining financial stability, optimizing banking relationships, and supporting corporate initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and strengthen the company’s overall financial strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Direct daily cash management operations, including cash positioning, account management, and bank relations.
• Forecast, monitor, and track cash flow (daily, weekly, and 13-week rolling forecasts).
• Review and improve cash management processes to ensure compliance with company policies and timely payment of obligations.
• Oversee cash disbursements, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare detailed cash flow and variance reports, analyzing results to identify trends and opportunities.
• Manage and reconcile fund transfers, including line-of-credit activity and money market transactions.
• Review and approve all non-repetitive wire transfers, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
• Evaluate and report on bank fees, merchant card costs, and other treasury expenses.
• Administer the corporate credit card program, including Concur spend management software.
• Support debt compliance monitoring and reporting.
• Support SOX compliance, internal and external audits, and related financial reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, denials, and potential fraud situations promptly.
• Maintain and organize banking records.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity, and financial instruments
• Experience managing banking relationships and credit facilities
• Proficiency in Excel and treasury management systems (TMS preferred)
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strategic thinking and financial acumen
• Attention to detail and strong risk management mindset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills

Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 5–8+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or CTP certification
• Strong understanding of banking systems, cash flow forecasting, and treasury operations.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements
• Primarily an office-based role; requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
• Occasional light lifting (e.g., office supplies or files)
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via video conference
• Ability to travel occasionally for meetings or training, if required
