The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting global treasury operations, including payment processing, cash management, bank reconciliations, and treasury reporting. This role works closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure timely execution of payments, effective cash positioning, and accurate treasury operations across multiple international entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily vendor payments and customer refunds for U.S. and international entities.
- Execute and monitor intercompany fund transfers and support the settlement of intercompany balances.
- Coordinate foreign exchange (FX) payment activities and confirm daily FX contract settlements.
- Review and approve payment requests to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and maintain daily cash position reports and support global cash management activities.
- Monitor intercompany cash balances and identify opportunities to optimize cash utilization across the organization.
- Partner with accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of treasury-related transactions.
- Review outstanding bank reconciliation items and coordinate resolution with internal stakeholders.
- Support SAP testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance scenarios.
- Participate in treasury process improvement initiatives, including automation and treasury management system enhancements.
- Assist with annual audits related to treasury operations.
- Support administration of accounts receivable discounting and financing programs.
- Assist with short-term and long-term cash forecasting activities.
Requirements
- CA Intermediate qualification or Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, banking operations, or a related finance function.
- Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management, foreign currency transactions, and banking processes.
- Experience supporting treasury process automation, digital transformation initiatives, or system implementations.
- Hands-on SAP experience is required.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with trade finance instruments and related banking products.
- Exposure to treasury management systems (TMS) and cash forecasting tools.
- Experience working within multinational organizations and shared services environments.
- Familiarity with process automation technologies, AI-enabled workflow improvements, or digital treasury transformation initiatives.
