TheTreasury Managerprovides enterprisewide strategicandtransactionalinvestment,and financial risk advice, supports Service Groups with valueadding insights, overseesconsolidatedcash flow forecasting, and manages key relationships with external banking partners.You’llplay a critical role in strengthening financial sustainability,governanceand compliance across a large, complex organisation with genuine purpose.

Your part in our UnitingCare team:
Lead the delivery of strategic and operational treasury services, providing trusted advice andenterprise levelfinancial insight
Ownenterprise-widecash flow forecasting across short,mediumandforward-lookinghorizons in partnership with finance and senior stakeholders
Optimiseinvestment performance through coordinated investmentselectionand active portfolio management
Build and manage strong relationships with Uniting Church Investment Services, external banks, energyprovidersand other treasury partners
Drive improvements in working capital through continuous review of policies,processesand performance
Deliver clear and insightful treasury reporting to the Board and key Committees, covering performance,riskand compliance
Monitor and manage treasuryrelated financial risks, including interest rate,basisand maturity risk, in line with governance frameworks
Develop,implementandmaintainorganisationwide treasury policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and banking obligations
Oversee bank securities, guarantees, PCIDSS compliance and key risk indicator reporting
Partner with senior leaders, businessunitsand project teams to provide strategic treasury support and enable enterprise initiatives
What makes a difference for us?
Confidence to satisfy the relevantprobitychecks required by legislation or policies. This may include: a Nationally Coordinated Police Check, Right to Work in Australia, Insolvency Check
Degree in finance,accountingor a related field (a post graduate qualificationadvantageous)
5+ years’ experience in a senior Treasury or Finance leadership role within a large or complexorganisation
Strong experience managing relationships with banks and investment partners, including transactional banking and debt products
Proven capability developing and overseeing treasury policies and governance frameworks
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery
Clear, confident communicator who can influence senior and nonfinancial stakeholders
Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to quickly build knowledge in new or regulated environments
