Treasury Management-Sales & Payments Officer Sr

Location

New York, NY 10018A Senior Treasury Management Sales & Payments Advisor, focuses on the most complex new business generation for prospects and existing clients in conjunction with a banking relationship team. Acts as primary TM Advisor on opportunities, to help clients with ways to optimize their working capital management through utilization of the banks’ TM solutions. This will include localized market knowledge and specialty segments supported within the Commercial and Private bank. Collaboration with the team which includes; Relationship management, Client Service, Product Leadership and Implementation is critical to success.

Pay Range: $167,913 - $181,750 - $202,000Pay Range: Local Minimum Wage - $0.00 - $0.00

Job Responsibilities:

  • New business development activities including calling efforts, joint salesopportunitiesand revenue generation.

  • Maintainsprofessional level (cSuite) calling efforts in order to develop new and existing client relationships.

  • Createsproactive and strategic dialogues with team members and potential clients surrounding TM industry issues to include; best practices,adviceand recommendationsin order toposition the banks TM solutions or to provide feedback to internal stakeholders.

  • Determinesand managesnon-credit related risk for customer portfolio related to TM solutions.

  • Calculatesand advisesinternalteamregardingTM service profitability for each customer.

  • Collaborateswith the RM team on recommendations for clients.

  • Deposit relationship management and deposit acquisition.

  • Managing existing clientportfolio, performing relationship reviews, servicingclientsand increasing product cross-sell opportunities.

  • Generating proposals, responding toRFP’sand coordinating the implementation of new clients andservices.

  • Participatingand providing leadership representation to the market, prospects, and clientsregardingsolutions through; client roundtables, industry conferences, in person meetings such as annual reviews, webinars, and social media platforms.

  • Ensuringcompliance with applicable federal,stateand local laws and regulations. Completesall required compliance training. Maintainsknowledge of andadhereto Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures.Takesresponsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:

  • Education levelrequiredUndergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum experiencerequired10+ Years​ in a treasury sales role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education level preferred:Master's Degree (or Postgraduate equivalent)​.

  • Certified Treasury Professional designation (CTP) as awarded by the Association for Financial Professionals is stronglypreferred.

Job Competencies:

  • Demonstrates expert knowledge andunderstanding of treasury management products and services

  • Applies an expert understanding of business cash flows, accountingprocessesand financial optimization

  • Applies an expert understanding of value propositions related to treasury management applications within a corporate treasury environment

  • Excellentunderstanding of both business and banking regulations such as UCC, Reg CC, RegE andregulatory guidance/oversight

  • Expertsales/negotiation aptitude and the ability to tactfully communicate at a senior executive level

  • Maintainssenior level contact with top clients and high priority prospects

  • Professionalverbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to think both creatively and strategically when devising a client solution

  • Possesses strong aptitude for time management,organizationand the ability to manage multiple initiatives successfully

  • Ability to prepare,presentand direct client proposals

  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources to resolve a service challenge or develop a solution

  • Demonstrates a strong ability to build andmaintaineffective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly,engaging in proactive collaboration, andleveragingcross functionalinsights.Aligns relationship building efforts with enterprise goals to accelerate performance and drive strategic results.

  • Buildstrusted client relationships, whether internal or external, byidentifyingneeds and delivering tailored solutions to enhance the overall client experience.

  • Fosters orsupportsa positive work culture and productive work environment, displayingimportanceof effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.

  • 50% - Travel to client offices, prospects,branchesand various functions is a requirement of the position

  • Physical demands (ADA):The job requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting.
