Treasury Back Office Specialist, Poznań

Role overview

The Treasury Back Office Team performs daily and monthly Treasury Back Office and Cash Management activities to ensure data consistency for group consolidation and to execute financial transactions within agreed timelines.

What you’ll be doing

  • Performing daily Treasury Back Office activities, including settlement, confirmation and accounting of treasury transactions;
  • Executing month-end Treasury Back Office activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, HFM reporting and other closing-related tasks;
  • Managing the operational back-office side of the Supply Chain Financing (SCF) / factoring programme, including technical onboarding and set-up of vendors once contractual arrangements are in place, maintaining vendor and programme data, liaising with banks and internal stakeholders, and supporting the resolution of operational issues;
  • Preparing Treasury reports and supporting regular reporting activities;
  • Managing daily bank accounting activities;
  • Supporting Cash Flow Forecasts, including estimating cash flow movements for Western European Carlsberg companies;
  • Supporting Group Treasury in liquidity and financial risk management activities;
  • Supporting the Genpact Cash Management Team and cooperating with other internal stakeholders;
  • Cooperating with internal and external auditors;
  • Cooperating with external banks;
  • Contributing to continuous improvements in Treasury processes and participating in Treasury-related projects.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 1-3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Treasury; experience in Accounts Payable would be an advantage;
  • Has experience in a shared services or business process outsourcing environment, preferably within an international organization;
  • Has an educational background in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field;
  • Has a good command of written and spoken English, minimum B2 level;
  • Is proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and has experience working with SAP;
  • Has understanding of accounting principles and terminology;
  • Is comfortable managing operational processes requiring accuracy, timely follow-up and coordination with multiple stakeholders;
  • Enjoys working in a diverse, international environment;
  • Is proactive and comfortable cooperating with banks, internal finance teams and other stakeholders.
