Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Treasury Operations & Execution (Core Ownership)

  • Oversee and execute FX and money market confirmations and settlements across high transaction volumes.
  • Ensure all transactions are processed accurately, securely, and within agreed timelines
  • Act as escalation point for complex or high-risk transactions

2. KYC, Banking & Regulatory Compliance

  • Own and manage complex KYC processes (multi-jurisdictional, including sanctions, FATCA, CRS).
  • Coordinate stakeholders (banks, Legal, Compliance, local teams) to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee lifecycle management of:
    • Bank accounts (400+)
    • Mandates, signatories, and access rights
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

3. Static Data & Operational Governance

  • Maintain and govern Treasury static data at scale, including:
    • 1,000+ authorised settlement templates
    • 250+ counterparties
  • Ensure high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and control
  • Support administration, control and tracking of:
    • Corporate cards (800+)
    • Bank and corporate guarantees (4,300+)

4. Systems, Connectivity & TMS Leadership

  • Act as key user and subject matter expert for the Treasury Management System (TMS).
  • Lead and support:
    • Annual Upgrade UAT testing and system enhancements
    • Configuration and data governance
  • Support and optimise ERP–TMS–Bank connectivity, including:
    • Host-to-Host (H2H)
    • SWIFT Service Bureau (SWIFT SB)

5. Controls, Risk & Audit

  • Execute and monitor key treasury controls, including:
    • Payment and settlement controls
    • Access and segregation of duties
    • Static data governance
  • Ensure strong audit trails and documentation across all treasury processes.
  • Act as a key contact for internal and external audits

6. Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify and lead automation and efficiency initiatives across treasury operations.
  • Drive standardisation of processes, templates, and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions aligned to best practices.

7. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a operational point of escalation within the team.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Specialists and Junior Specialists.
  • Build strong relationships with:
    • Banks and financial institutions
    • IT Security, Legal, Tax, Audit
    • Local Finance teams across jurisdictions

8. Projects & Strategic Support

  • Act as SME on global treasury projects, including:
    • System implementations
    • Process transformations
    • Banking and connectivity initiatives
  • Support treasury activities related to new country openings, ensuring robust operational setup and compliance.

  • 3+ years’ experience in treasury or financial operations within a multinational environment (EUR >2bn revenue)
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Treasury Management Systems (TMS)
  • Payment connectivity (H2H, SWIFT)
  • Proven experience managing high-volume, complex treasury operations
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional treasury qualification (e.g. ACT, CTP) preferred
  • Fluency in English (B2 Minimum)
  • Advanced knowledge of cash management structures (accounts, cash-pooling, payments)
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and banking products (FX / Money Markets)
  • Deep understanding of controls, audit, and compliance frameworks (SOX / ICFR exposure advantageous)
  • Expertise in TMS, ERP integration, and banking connectivity
  • Strong data governance and attention to detail in high-volume environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management across international teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement mindset
  • Clear communicator with ability to guide and mentor others
  • Openness to a hybrid work model (min. 3 days in the office) and occasional monthly travel.
