Job Description
Purpose
Reporting to the Director, Banking & Treasury, this role is responsible for supporting Treasury operations through daily cash reporting and forecasting, banking administration and wire payment processing. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and financial institutions to ensure efficient treasury operations, maintain banking records, support cash management activities, and drive continuous process improvements.
Key Accountabilities
Bank Account Management
- Oversee bank account administration, including account openings, closings and signatory updates
- Maintain banking records and legal documentation
- Investigate and resolve bank transactions when necessary.
Corporate Cash Management
- Monitor daily cash balances across all banks, advising when certain accounts require funding
- Prepare and distribute daily cash position reporting
- Process and track wire payments and internal transfers
- Update daily cash forecast based on new or updated information becomes available
Loan Portfolio Management
- Maintain tracking mechanism for interest payments on mezzanine loans and promissory notes
- Monitor loan payment schedules and assist with related reporting requirements
- Support documentation, recordkeeping and reporting for any treasury-managed loans.
Operational Support and Coordination
- Act as main point of contact for the homes for petty cash, night deposit and merchant machine requests and any issues that may arise
- Assist with treasury-related audits
Process Improvement and Technology Utilization
- Identify and implement improvements to treasury processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Support automation initiatives and optimize the use of banking platforms and treasury-related systems.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
Experience:
- At least 3 years experience in treasury, accounting or financial analysis
- Experience with banking platforms and cash management
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills required to analyze data
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Effective planning and priority setting
- Advanced computer software skills including Microsoft Excel (Power Query knowledge preferred)
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to coordinate with multiple parties
- Experience with Yardi and OneStream preferred
