The Treasury Analyst supports the treasury operations of various Branches and businesses of TotalEnergies in Singapore and Asia.

The role operates in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, requiring strict adherence to compliance standards, sanctions regulations, and internal control frameworks, while consistently meeting tight operational deadlines handling high-value, high-volume transactions and cashflows.

Activities

• Execute and oversee daily payment and receipt activities accurately and within strict deadlines using internal systems and banking platforms, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and bank requirements.
• Monitor and deliver timely daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting for different business units, providing visibility to management and ensuring proper follow-up with relevant departments.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and collaborate with relevant teams in different departments to drive timely collection and safeguard cash inflows.
• Support the quarterly Working Capital process by ensuring forecast accuracy and coordinating effectively with stakeholders across Singapore and other countries.
• Manage and monitor liquidity/daily cash flows across multiple bank accounts and currencies to ensure smooth and optimal funding operations of the various Branches and businesses. Regular cash planning cross entities, countries and currencies to make available funds for project CAPEX and entity operational needs
• Identify, analyze and report FX exposures on project related cash flow and propose FX risk mitigation measures. Monitor and execute FX fixing and foreign currency conversions for non-USD balances using internal FX platforms to ensure timely exposure coverage.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial closing processes, including cash flow analysis, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment across systems and bank accounts.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Credit and Operations teams to monitor and update trade financing, discounting, factoring, group debit, and related payment flows.
• Act as a key point of contact with internal departments (e.g., Accounting, Compliance, Credit, Demurrage, Trading Operations, etc.) and international offices to resolve treasury operational matters effectively and efficiently.
• Liaise and coordinate with external banks and TotalEnergies Treasury on banking operations, including facilitating board resolutions and managing treasury-related matters.
• Perform bank account verification and validate counterparties’ banking details in line with internal control and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to digitalisation, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation, efficiency, and control within treasury processes.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or equivalent (Bac +3). Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, or banking operations. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
