The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Treasury Management team in business deposit product needs: attending sales calls with prospective clients and effectively implementing and promoting those products to the current client base. The Treasury Analyst will support management activities needed to meet production goals in commercial deposits, public entity deposits, and treasury management products and services. They will work closely with their Team Leader to implement sales strategies for the continued growth opportunities of our existing and new markets.

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Partners with Treasury Management Officer to prepare for new client calls and to identify new sales opportunities with existing clients.
2. Provides product knowledge expertise during sales calls with potential and existing clients.
3. Provides effective sales culture leadership for the profitable expansion of Deposit and Treasury Management relationships to support strategic growth.
4. Maintains and develops a strong internal network and deepens existing treasury relationships.
5. Assists in producing professional quality proposals and responds to formal RFP’s.
6. Delivers excellent customer service to both external clients and internal colleagues throughout the credit union.
7. Network with existing public entity representatives and local centers of influences.
8. Conducts internal and external training sessions on product changes and Treasury Management.
9. Maintains knowledge base of current and emerging business and Treasury Management products.
10. Ensures the accurate implementation and servicing of all deposit and Treasury Management relationships.
11. Updates Treasury Management Officers regarding critical developments in commercial member relationships.
12. Works with operations, servicing, and product support team members to ensure successful client on-boarding, member satisfaction and ongoing support.
13. Completes additional tasks and special projects as assigned by Team Leader.
14. Provide recommendations and process improvement.
15. Respond to company representatives’ inquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner.
16. Perform job duties with limited daily supervision, exercising a high level of discretion and sound judgment.
17. Maintain knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures which impact assigned responsibilities.
18. Consistently display successful communication and listening skills with peers, members, supervisor, and vendors.
19. Display leadership values such as mutual respect, honesty, trust and dignity, and act in the best interest of the credit union. Always display solid ethics and integrity.
20. Maintain and protect all sensitive data utilizing the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism.
21. Attend ongoing BSA training to include webinars, training provided by CPA’s, and obtain BSA certification.
22. Adhere to policies. Operate in a safe and sound manner.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

1. One (1) to three (3) years of experience in commercial deposit gathering and treasury management sales and service, and exposure to public entity proposals and personnel.
2. Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in finance/accounting preferred.
3. Treasury management training and credentials (Certified Treasury Professional [CTP], or Accredited ACH [AAP]) preferred but not required.
4. Minimum of three (3) years of credit union/banking and/or treasury management sales experience in a financial environment.
5. Proficiency with standard office equipment and business software.
6. Some travel is required to develop markets, attend credit union training,

Richland, WA: $25.70 - $42.83

Renton, WA: $31.07 - $51.79
