Who are we looking for?

As Treasury Accountant you will be responsible for performing financial operations and solving more complex cases in multiple banking platforms and on several financial products. Main goal of employee in this position will be to reconcile accurately and timely various type of transaction book within State Street Markets and Global Treasury. This includes: Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income Security transactions and derivatives.

A qualified candidate will contribute to the team on technical matters, as well as providing leadership and direction to the team members, in both quality of service and communication with internal clients and other supporting departments, showing team player’s mindset.

Your new role

As Treasury Accountant, Senior Associate you will:

  • Perform and oversee accurately and timely cash, securities and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Report accordingly as per agreed escalation path.

  • Be familiar with team corporate documentation on processes, procedures and controls

  • Participate in recurring procedures revision and update

  • Co-participate in the development, testing and implementation of new systems and products within his/her department

  • Be familiar with Company and Departmental policies

  • Interact daily with the middle office, counterparties, traders, corresponding banks, finance desk, cash management and other internal and external teams

  • Support solving more complex exceptions and respective escalation

  • Participate in recurring procedures revision and update

  • Participate in projects and processes enhancements

What we value

Experience and qualifications:

  • At least Bachelor's degree (preferred). Specialization in Banking or Finance would be an asset

  • 5 years of professional experience in financial services industry

  • Experience in the banking field and knowledge, understanding and reconciliation of banking products is required

  • Understanding and ability to explain the money market and stock market transaction

  • Advanced command of English language (at least B2 English level)

Skills and competencies:

  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, commitment and diligence

  • Flexibility & very good organization of work

  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently

  • Pro-active approach, with initiative, detailed oriented and reliability

  • MS Office hands on experience with particular emphasis on MS Excel and MS Word

Work organization requirement

  • Hybrid work model with 3 days of office presence per week

Minimum Salary:

zł87,000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
