The Treasurer's Office Services Manager provides administrative support to the Tax Collection personnel, overseeing public-facing office services, assisting tax payers, managing tax lien sales, and working with other Treasurer's departments.
Essential Functions:

Provide complex administrative services of specialized nature of department;
Performs research, prepares reports and recommendations to management of issues, concerns and problems in the department;
Ensures work unit policies, procedures comply with statutes and county and office policies;
Oversees internal services such as accounting, payroll and personnel assigned to directly;
May supervise, train and evaluate the performance of staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in public administration, business administration, management or a closely related field as defined by the appointing authority AND four years of professional experience in public or business administration.
(Relevant experience and/or education from an accredited college or university may be substituted).
OR:
Four years of experience with Pima County as a supervisory within the particular area of assignment or related position as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment.

Preferred Qualifications (Be specific in describing your experience in your application. Ensure the descriptions provided illustrate your competencies, specifically addressing the required and preferred qualifications.):
Minimum two (2) years experience as a supervisor.
Minimum four (4) years experience in tax collection.
Selection Procedure:
Pima County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates that meet the minimum qualifications. All applications will be assessed based on an evaluation of the listed education and experience. Candidates meeting the minimum qualifications may be further evaluated/scored against any advertised Preferred Qualifications. The hiring authority will interview and select the successful candidate from a referral list provided by Human Resources. Additional assessments/testing may be required as part of the selection process.

Licenses and Certificates Some positions require a valid Arizona Class D driver license at the time of application or appointment. Failure to obtain/maintain the required licensure shall be grounds for termination.
