
The traveling surgeon is expected to be highly skilled in advanced surgical procedures for companion animals providing a resource to our patients and clients who could not have otherwise received the services. The DVM would be expected to travel to any of the Lovet Pet Health Care locations in the Phoenix metro area to perform surgery based on caseload and availability. The majority of the caseload would be orthopedic procedures requiring expertise in this area. Advanced soft tissue surgeries would make up a portion of the skill set required. The DVM would be a contributing member to the growth and training of other DVMs in the company looking to advance their surgical skill set.
Compensation will be a base salary of $200,000 - $250,000+ (commensurate with experience) plus production percentage. Earning potential is unlimited, typically $300,000+.
