About the role
Under direct supervision, the DOT Waste Shipper supports waste management and shipping activities in accordance with site procedures and regulatory requirements. This role assists management in ensuring all waste handling, packaging, labeling, documentation, and shipment activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company procedures and applicable contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
The DOT Waste Shipper performs assigned tasks to support the proper preparation and transportation of regulated waste materials. Responsibilities may include assisting with waste characterization, packaging, labeling, documentation, and coordination of shipments while maintaining strict adherence to safety, environmental, and transportation regulations.
Work assignments may include duties that support one or more functional areas of waste management operations, in addition to other responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is approximately $50.00 per hour, with highly experienced candidates potentially eligible for up to $60.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. This position is eligible for overtime pa y in accordance with applicable federal and state wage and hour laws.
