Traveling Care Coordinator

Bonaventure Senior Living is seeking an experienced and dynamic Traveling Care Coordinator to support and elevate health services operations across our senior living communities. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at building strong teams, and is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care. The Traveling Care Coordinator will step into communities as needed to stabilize, lead, train, and improve healthcare services.

This role involves regular travel within an assigned region to support our senior living communities. While the position requires mobility and the ability to visit multiple locations, candidates who resident within the designated region can expect to return home daily.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Traveling Care Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring excellence in care and operations by:

  • Analyzing systems and outcomes and keeping documentation for consistency and quality.
  • Reviewing resident charts and care plans to identify strengths, gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Partnering with community teams to develop solution-oriented improvement plans.
  • Maintaining quality assurance documentation and audit programs.
  • Training staff on best practices, policies, and compliance procedures.
  • Overseeing corrective and preventative action plans.
  • Organizing and managing documentation systems for accuracy and accessibility.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience successfully leading healthcare or resident care departments (preferably in senior living, assisted living, or memory care)
  • Detail-oriented and analytical thinker
  • Ability to quickly assess situations and implement effective solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn Bonaventure’s policies, state regulations, and quality standards.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently (regional travel required)
  • Excellent driving record—travel required across a regional area
  • English language proficiency required
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
