Travel and Transport Assistant | 11157 | Fixed Term Contract to 31 March 2028 | 37 hours per week | £27,709 to £29,071 per annum | (Grade E) | County Hall, Norwich
We are seeking a Travel and Transport Assistant to work in our busy passenger transport team. The role will be varied but will focus on improving public transport in Norfolk through the provision of information and providing better bus stop facilities.
Tasks will include updating information systems, producing travel information, dealing with bus operators regarding their services, liaising with town and parish councils, raising purchase orders, assessing bus stop locations, replying to public enquiries, and dealing with invoices and payments.
You will need to be hardworking, able to work on your own initiative, and have an enquiring mind to be able to assess what needs doing and how. Site visits across Norfolk will be required so you will need to have a valid driving licence.
This is a very interesting and varied role, helping to deliver the Government and Council's vision for improved public transport across Norfolk.
