Overview
Surgical Tech travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Role: Surgical Tech (CST) in a hospital setting. Start date: 07/06/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,323–$1,366 per week. Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for surgical cases and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
- Pass instruments, retractors, and supplies; assist with maintaining a sterile field during operations
- Assist with instrument counts, specimen handling, and specimen labeling according to protocol
- Support turnover between cases, including room cleanup and re-sterilization of equipment
- Assist the surgical team and anesthesia provider as needed, including positioning and equipment setup
- Document relevant case details and communicate equipment or supply needs to the team
- Participate in call coverage, weekends, and holidays as required; adapt to varied case types and trauma cases

Requirements
- Current Surgical Technologist certification (CST) or eligibility required
- Travel experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Burn experience preferred
- Demonstrated high proficiency in perioperative skills as evidenced by performance ratings
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced operating room environment; willingness to participate in call and holiday coverage
