Responsibilities
- Assist in the operating room under supervision, maintaining strict sterile technique and instrument handling
- Prepare and set up the surgical field, including instrument counts and equipment readiness
- Anticipate the surgeon’s needs, pass instruments, and maintain patient safety throughout procedures
- Support complex case types, including DaVinci robot-assisted procedures, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, and ex-lap surgeries as assigned
- Float to other operating rooms as needed to support team workflow and patient care
- Perform routine documentation and communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient status and equipment needs

Requirements
- NBSTSA CST certification required OR 3 years of experience as a surgical technologist in lieu of certificate
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Experience: 1 year as CST or 3 years as ST
- Level I trauma experience required; experience with DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, and ex-lap cases preferred
- Ability to float to all ORs; capable of working 10-hour shifts; on-call up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract
- Nicotine-free facility environment
