Overview
Surgical Tech – Travel assignment in a surgery center setting based in Tuba City, Arizona. Start date 06/29/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range $2,026 to $2,123 per week with guaranteed 36 hours. Shift: 4x10-hour days with on-call rotation. This travel opportunity supports operating room services across multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities
- Set up the operating room before procedures, ensuring sterility and readiness of equipment and instrumentation
- Assist with positioning, surgical prepping, and draping of the patient; maintain sterile field during procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team; assist with instrument counts and specimen handling as required
- Transport patients to and from the OR; support room turnover and post-procedure cleanup
- Monitor equipment function and report issues to the team; support overall procedure efficiency and safety

Requirements
- Certification/Licensure: Current Surgical Technologist certification (NBSTSA CST) or NCCT-TS-C, or eligible to obtain within the program timeframe; maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Education: Completion of an AST-accredited Surgical Technician program, or documented on-the-job training in a clinical setting
- Experience: OR/surgical tech experience preferred; must meet credentialing requirements outlined by the program
- Additional: Ability to work in a rotating schedule including on-call coverage after successful completion of required didactic and clinical requirements
