Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Help residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support resident outcomes
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety
Complete accurate and timely documentation and billing
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing setting
Active Oregon Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility
CFY candidates and new graduates encouraged to apply
VitalStim certification preferred (not required)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred but not required
