Overview
Speech Language Pathologist — travel assignment in Glendive, Montana. Start date 06/22/2026 for 13 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Day shift. Work setting: long-term care / nursing home. This assignment is through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities; develop individualized treatment plans
- Plan and implement therapy to improve communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing function; modify treatments to meet patient needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in the facility’s documentation system
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nursing, rehab, and social work to optimize resident care
- Monitor and adjust goals based on patient response and progress; provide family and caregiver education as appropriate
- Monitor safety considerations related to dysphagia management and ensure adherence to facility policies and applicable regulations

Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Montana state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure (travel assignment requirements)
- Minimum relevant experience in speech-language pathology; LTC/long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to work days and collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Familiarity with documentation in electronic medical records and standard clinical workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor and patient-centered approach
